Desktop UXO Risk Assessment - Report Comparison

Our repfellows-sample-report.jpgorts are not automated database searches or computer generated pages, each report is produced by an experienced analyst who uses a range of sources. Our Preliminary UXO Risk Assessments offer an overview of UXO risk at your site and will take into account the site history, its current and intended use and the client’s scope of work. The output is a succinct and accurate assessment of UXO risk and recommendations to manage this risk.

The Detailed Risk Assessment, generally (but not always) follows on from the Preliminary, gives a much greater level of information about the history of the site and how the UXO risk may affect the planned works.

Effective and detailed analysis of a site can often allow the UXO risk to be zoned and the site segregated, thereby negating the need for time consuming and expensive survey procedures over the whole of a site.

For Preliminary and Detailed Risk Assessments sources include national and local record offices, aerial photography, historical maps, British Geological Survey (BGS) information and historic air raid records. Our analysts are able to piece together the most relevant information from across these sources to give an accurate and informed assessment of the risk at a site.

Fellows can also produce a Bespoke Risk Management Plan. This report is generally more suitable for large sites or for those that span multiple locations or projects of a considerable duration.

We also offer through life support across the complete project lifecycle for all activities that carry a UXO risk. This ensures that a UXO professional is always available to offer advice and assistance to the site or project management team based upon the best information available.
