Fellows partner with the University of Portsmouth
UXO risk management experts Fellows are delighted to announce that they have entered into a technology agreement with the University of Portsmouth.
The agreement is about collaborating to share advancing and emerging technologies such as virtual reality, augmented reality, motion capture and data visualisation. These will be explored by Fellows, the aim being to understand how they can be used within the UXO industry both on land and within a marine environment.
Talking about the agreement Paul Vickers, Business Development Manager at Fellows, said: “The University of Portsmouth are internationally recognised as being one of the leading educational institutions within these technological fields. Add to that our established expertise in our own field and that we are on each other’s doorstep and the collaboration makes perfect sense.”
Students from the university will be assisting Fellows with visualising and interrogating UXO data into a more user friendly and aesthetically pleasing format.
