approved Standing Operating Procedures and produce a Methodology Statement with
Risk Assessment for each project, taking into account the threat, environmental
conditions and available resources.
FIL have the
capability to investigate munitions environmental contamination and remediation
underwater in inland rivers, estuaries and open sea locations. Contaminated
water ingestion protected, non-magnetic, acoustically safe diving and and
ancillary life support equipment is used to safeguard the diver's health and to
prevent possible acoustic or magnetic influenced ordnance actuation. Safe
communications methods are employed to prevent electronic interference to metal
