FIL have extensive experience of underwater salvage of ships, submarines, aircraft and helicopters from air diving to mixed gas saturation depths. Tasks have included the recovery of corpses and foresnsic evidence from a ferryboat, render safe and removal of mines from fishing boat nets, the deamunitioning of wartime wrecks to the salvage or repair of ships in politically sensitive zones.
